Yes, you can book directly through our website or the Wellyx app, whenever it's convenient for you. Not sure which service is right for your first visit? Give us a call or send a text, and we'll help you figure out where to start
Plan to arrive 5 minutes early so you're not rushed. From there, it depends on what you choose: Contrast Therapy (infrared sauna + cold plunge) sessions run 45 or 75 minutes, Social Sauna is a relaxed 30 minutes, and Lymphatic Roller sessions are either a full 45 minutes or a quicker 30-minute Express Roll. There's no wrong length to start with, we can help you decide what fits your schedule and your goals
For Contrast Therapy (infrared sauna + cold plunge), you'll want to wear a swimsuit, you'll be getting into the cold plunge, so that's the most practical option. Your session takes place in a private space, so there's no need to worry about who's around.
For Social Sauna, a swimsuit or loose, comfortable clothing both work well, whatever you feel most at ease in.
For Lymphatic Roller sessions, snug clothing like leggings and a fitted top works best, since it helps the roller do its job, and please remember to pull your hair back.
There's no need to dive in fast or prove anything to yourself. Start with just 30 seconds to a minute, that's a completely legitimate place to begin. Focus on slow, steady breathing as you ease in, and go at a pace that feels mindful rather than rushed. If you're working toward a specific goal, we're happy to help you build toward it. And for the best results, pair your plunge with heat beforehand. However you start, listen to your body, this is meant to challenge you a little, not overwhelm you.
If this is new to you, ease in with a shorter session, 10 to 15 minutes is a great place to start. Drink water before and after, wear whatever feels comfortable, and settle in on the towels we provide. Let yourself breathe deeply and relax into the heat. If at any point you start to feel lightheaded, that's your body telling you to step out and cool down, there's no reason to push through it. We're always happy to walk you through what a good first session looks like for you specifically.
When you arrive, you'll get settled into your own private space. If you booked a 2-person session, you and your guest will be in that same private space together throughout. You'll start in the infrared sauna, where the heat helps you relax, boosts circulation, and eases tension built up over the week. Once you're ready, you'll move into the cold plunge for a shorter burst, this is the part that invigorates you and helps your body recover. Most people move back and forth between the two a few times over the course of the session, but there's no required pattern to follow. We'll walk you through how to pace it your first time, so you're never guessing what to do next.
